Niurka F. Asmer, P.A. was started in October of 2025, and was formerly known as Fernandez Florida Law, P.A. Attorney, Nicki Asmer, has been representing community associations, builders and developers in the State of Florida for over two decades. Asmer provides legal advise to all types of communities, of all sizes, such as condominiums, homeowners association, condo-hotels, timeshares and cooperatives. We strive to provide community associations and developers with the power to effectively and efficiently build and run their communities.

Meet the team
Asmer is fluent in English and Spanish, and has a known presence in the Hispanic Community. Asmer is an active member of the following professional organizations and holds various licenses:

- Admitted to practice in the Middle and Southern District Federal Bankruptcy Courts
- Member of the Condominium and Planned Development Chapter of the Florida Bar

In 2004, Asmer opened Fernandez Florida Law, primarily representing homeowners. Her cases made headlines on Fox News, and she eventually transitioned into representing community associations.
In 2015, Fernandez Florida Law was voted “Law Firm of the Year” in the Florida Community Association Journal. After joining FL Legal Group, she bestowed that same honor as FL Legal Group, and was again voted “Law Firm of the Year” in 2017.
Asmer was named the “#1 Community Association Attorney” by her peers in the Tampa Magazine’s 2017 Tampa Top Lawyers.
In 2020, Asmer joined Appleton Reiss, PLLC as a partner, and was added to the "Super Lawyer" list in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
